Our history & impact

Four years ago, ADHD Works was just an idea. That idea has since grown into a global community, a bunch of training courses, and a voice for change.

Here’s some of what we’ve built along the way.

1,000+ ADHD Coaches & Supervisors trained

WWe’ve trained more than 1,000 ADHD Coaches, Supervisors and Champions around the world, helping people build the knowledge, skills and confidence to support ADHDers well.

We launched the UK’s first CPD-accredited ADHD Coach training, and later developed the world’s first CPD-accredited AuDHD Coach course. (Our live training programmes and 1:1 coaching are paused while we transition to Australia - watch this space!)

The first courses of their kind

Through 1:1 and group coaching, we’ve supported thousands of ADHDers to work with their brains (not against them). Our coaching team has included 30+ in-house coaches, all specialising in different areas to support ADHDers everywhere.

Supporting thousands of ADHDers

Training workplaces to understand ADHD

We’ve worked with organisations including Google, Microsoft, Mind, Yahoo, Paperchase and NHS England, helping workplaces better understand ADHD and create environments where neurodivergent people can thrive.

We also created a bespoke programme - ADHD Champions - especially for Disney!

5x bestselling books

Leanne Maskell took what she learned through coaching, training and community, and turned it into books that people can actually use. (Browse the bestsellers here!)

Supporting ADHDers also means speaking up when the systems around them aren’t working. That’s why we’ve advocated on issues like ADHD medication shortages (to BBC Breakfast) and led Parliamentary petitions on pre- and post-diagnosis ADHD Support. Discover more of our advocacy work here.

Advocating for more support

Retreats & events

We’ve run two sold-out retreats and created spaces for ADHDers and AuDHDers to connect, learn and have fun together - including silent discos and AuDHD by the Sea meet-ups around the world.
