You don't have to fit in here.
ADHD Works is for people who think, live, work and feel differently from how society says they ‘should’.
There isn't one right way to be - just your own.
ADHD
-
ADHD is linked with a 30% developmental ‘delay’ in executive functioning skills.
This framework of psychoeducation and exercises helps ADHDers understand these differences through their own lens.
It covers areas including motivation, memory, emotional regulation, and problem solving - but if you’ve met 1 person with ADHD, you’ve met 1 person with ADHD.
So, we train people to adapt this framework in the ways that work for them - and the people they support.
You are the expert in yourself - but you also don’t know what you don’t know.
Think of it like an optional ‘menu’, providing safety and structure to unmask.
We’ve used this framework in 1:1 coaching, as well as in training for organisations such as Disney and Mind.
There’s no ‘fixing’ - just understanding and supporting people as they are.
-
This course was originally created for ADHD Works to take on ‘in house’ coaches, as our 1:1 waiting list quickly grew to hundreds of people!
Incidentally, it also became the UK’s first ever ADHD coaching course (👀).
Our hybrid training skips the small talk, provides what is actually useful in practice, and trusts students to learn in the ways that work for them.
And the results are pretty incredible.
Within just a few years, hundreds of people globally have been trained and certified to use our Executive Functioning coaching framework.
The ripple effect is thousands of people accessing support that works for their brain.
For us, it’s proof that neuroaffirmative education works. And we’re really proud of it.
-
ADHDers have often been misunderstood or let down by systems or professionals when seeking help.
Understanding that we have ADHD is a start, but it’s not always clear what comes next.
This is especially so when you (understandably!) don’t know what help you need - just that you need it.
We have a global directory of coaches trained on our Executive Functioning framework to help you figure it out - and a matching filter to help identify the best fit for you.
There’s no one size (or person) that fits all - but you deserve to be understood, believed, and supported.
Working with an ADHD coach can help you to move from awareness to action, ‘doing what you know’ - and ultimately, accepting yourself as you are.
-
ADHD: an A to Z was initially self-published by Leanne Maskell in January 2021, back when there was - if you can believe it - no relevant ADHD information to be found.
It was then acquired and republished by JKP in 2022, which included an audiobook. As of 2026, it’s sold over 20k copies worldwide. 🤯
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by ADHD information, we’d suggest starting there.
If you’re struggling with ADHD at work, you might also wish to check out ADHD Works at Work (2023).

ADHDers sometimes tend to start at level 100 and work backwards.
That’s how our training works. We skip the small talk to teach people the tangible frameworks, strategies and tools that have worked for us.
Then we share the evidence, ethics and ‘why’ behind them - so you can choose what works for you.
We'll show you what we know - and support you to make it your own.
(And yes, you'll get a certificate to prove you're officially ‘allowed’ to do it.)

You don’t need fixing, but you do deserve to be understood.
Our Executive Functioning, AuDHD and Neuroaffirmative Frameworks help make sense of the why.
The people we’ve trained to use them can help you to figure out what to do next.
Different people need different people - because sometimes you just need someone who gets it.
(And yes, we know: ‘BUT HOW DO I KNOW WHO TO GO WITH??’ → we built a matching tool to do the work for you.)

Did you know there’s a 50-70% co-occurrence rate of ADHD and autism - or that they’ve only been diagnosable in the same person since 2013?
This framework of psychoeducation and exercises provides containment for the paradoxes of living with a brain that’s often battling against itself. 🙃
It covers paradoxes such as relationships, processing, energy, executive functioning and communication.
Many people discover they’re autistic after ADHD. This can be extremely overwhelming - especially for a brain that needs clarity!
This framework was developed through years of coaching AuDHDers, in addition to lived experience.
It covers neuroscience in depth, but also the practical realities, such as navigating burnout and stigma.
In addition to 1:1 support, we’ve also trained organisations including Coventry City Council, Maidstone Borough Council, and UKG on this.
This isn’t about ‘treating’ AuDHDers, but empowering them with awareness, agency, and autonomy.

You don’t need fixing, but you do deserve to be understood.
This is ‘advanced’ because it’s built on deep neuroscience, such as monotropism, alexithymia, and demand avoidance.
The people we’ve trained to use them can help you to figure out what to do next.
Different people need different people - because sometimes you just need someone who gets it.
