  • Cara Waller

Hi, I’m Cara - an ADHD coach who believes in curiosity over criticism and progress over perfection!

I was diagnosed at 33, after a lifetime of wondering why things felt harder than they should. After years of research, learning, therapy, and coaching, I finally stopped blaming myself and started understanding how my brain actually works.

  • Danni Prendergast

You deserve more than just getting through life.

Like many late-diagnosed AuDHDers, I masked so heavily that I wasn't sure what was 'me' behind it. As a behavioural specialist in NHS Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental services, I’ve spent years helping families and carers understand the needs of adults they care for. But as a lifelong people pleaser and busy mum of two, I regularly dismissed my own needs as not enough. Coaching helped me see that unmasking isn't just stimming in public, it's recognising your needs as valid, with the confidence to advocate for yourself.

Together, we can get you to a place where you feel empowered and confident; to be the version  of you that has always been enough.

Have you spent a lifetime asking yourself, "How does everyone around me GET SO MUCH DONE?!" whilst even ‘simple’ tasks feel like your 'Everest'?

    I can relate!

As a burnt-out teacher and mum of two young children, this was my reality too… until (aged 41!) I discovered ADHD coaching, and it changed everything.

Now, with insight into how our neurodiverse brains work, I am excited to help you reframe your thinking and harness the exceptional strengths innate to your ADHD.

In our sessions, you can press pause, ‘unmask’ and explore what’s holding you back; we’ll relate challenges to executive functioning skills and work together to overcome them, using strategies that feel authentic to you.

  • Ali Wingrove

With 16 years in the event industry, I know the challenges of balance while navigating high-pressure careers. Many others have also inadvertently built careers around them which play to their ADHD by diving into challenging and fast-paced environments but these can end up taking their toll over time.

As a rare ADHD-er diagnosed as a child, I have unique experiences to build on to support other ADHD-ers. Despite early diagnosis, there was no support available so I plan to be part of that support system for the future.

I would like to help anyone struggling, from the younger generation starting out, to those who have already built a career but are now finding it hard to maintain and at risk of burnout. I also work with businesses to better support their neurodivergent teams.

My approach is personalised and non-judgemental, we will use your personal strengths to support the most challenging areas of your life and bring balance.

Hi, I’m Dani. I was diagnosed as AuDHD later in life (late 30s), and I’ve had constant pain since childhood (so far I’ve collected diagnoses like M.E., Fibromyalgia, hypermobility, and more). ADHD Works coaching helped me unpack some of the toughest stuff: burnout, chronic illness, grief, loss, discrimination, and abuse, and how all of that connects with being neurodivergent. I’d love to help you do the same: untangle the threads, understand your brain, get rid of some of the shame, and move forward in a way that actually works for you. • Jane Prokop

When my son was diagnosed with ADHD and later ASD, my research to help him led me to recognise those traits in myself. At 46, I was diagnosed with AuDHD. Having spent 46 years being labelled as ‘odd’, ‘too loud’, ‘too much’, and ‘too sensitive’, I can deeply empathise with my clients.

With nearly three decades of experience working in the legal field as a Technology Trainer, I thrived under high pressure and tight project deadlines, fuelled by ADHD energy and unknowingly developing coping strategies. However, in recent years, managing a struggling neurodivergent child alongside my career led to burnout as I pushed myself beyond my limits.

I am friendly and compassionate, with a touch of humour when needed, and I am dedicated to helping you overcome limiting beliefs and achieve your goals.

When my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at 7, I finally acknowledged those traits in myself. For two decades as a Creative Director, I thrived on high-pressure, short-term projects, and was running on ADHD energy, creating tools and strategies to cope, without even knowing it. But I also burnt out through pushing beyond my boundaries without understanding where my executive functioning skills were lacking.

Helping colleagues, friends and family to understand their brains, as well as my own has inspired me to become an ADHD coach. I believe that an ADHD brain is a powerful asset. My coaching offers understanding, empathy, and practical strategies. I meet every client with kindness, joy, and humor. Whether you're a parent seeking clarity or a creative harnessing unique strengths, I'm here to help you set yourself up for success.

  • Laura Burridge

I’m Laura (she/her) from LauDHD Coaching.

As a late-diagnosed autistic ADHDer, I understand the relief and grief of finally learning your brain works differently, after years of wondering why nothing ever quite fit.

I primarily work with neurodivergent adults – especially late-diagnosed women – who feel like walking contradictions: capable yet overwhelmed, brilliant in a crisis but can’t remember to eat, exhausted but unable to switch off. You’ve spent years doing everything “right,” and still feel like you’re getting it wrong. If that sounds like you, I see you.

Before coaching, I worked in the Public Sector and partner agencies, supporting people affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence, homelessness, substance use, and trauma.
I know the cost of being a neurodivergent professional pouring everything into others while quietly unravelling behind the scenes - misdiagnosed, missed, and running on fumes.

Now, I help others unlearn that survival mode and build a life that finally fits.
Expect a coach who genuinely gets it – a safe space to stim, walk around, be emotional, or forget things. We’ll make it work your way.

Sick of being an exhausted salmon swimming upstream??? Then read on...

Hi! I’m Lucy, a late-diagnosed ADHDer and likely autistic, so I truly understand how tough it can be to navigate a neurotypical world. After 15 years in a demanding corporate environment and parenting a neurodiverse child, I realised just how much support the neurodiverse community needed and how little there was out there. So I decided to train as an ADHD coach to offer just that!

I provide 1:1 video call coaching for adults with (or suspecting) ADHD; no diagnosis required. My sessions are a safe, non-judgmental space where you can stop the world and get off for a bit! I'll focus on strengthening your executive functioning skills: planning, motivation, organisation, goal setting etc. Using a flexible, exploratory approach, I’ll help you understand your ADHD, discover what works for you, and create practical, personalised strategies to move forward at your own pace.

Whether you're overwhelmed, stuck, or just figuring things out, I’m here to support you with compassion, humour, insight and accountability.

  • Mia Alexander

I'm Mia — an ADHD coach for creatives, entrepreneurs, and divergent thinkers.

Before I was diagnosed at 25, I restarted my path countless times, searching for the one that felt ‘right’—where my interest would stick, my motivation would be endless, and the weight of my dreaded ‘potential’ would finally lift from my shoulders.

It wasn’t until I learnt about my unique brain that I realised neither I nor the paths I had tried were the problem. The issue was that I was trying to walk them in neurotypical shoes.

Divergent thinking is a major part of the creative process—and our ADHD brains are exceptionally good at it! Through coaching, you can learn to harness that incredible skill, build systems and strategies that work with your ADHD, break the neurotypical rules, and design a life that feels authentically yours.

When you're ready, I'd be honoured to hear your story.

CPD Accredited Coach, based in Albourne, Sussex.

Hello, my name is Sophie Yorke-Johnson.  I am available to do sessions in person at my home or on video call.

I am a coach specialising in ADHD but I also like to work with those that do not yet have a diagnosis.

We can work together to identify your strengths, helping you to build self awareness, help you to create a plan for improvement in areas, such as time management, organisation and emotional regulation using the ADHD works executive functioning coaching method.

My daughter got diagnosed last year after going through some difficulties and I realised without knowing that I’ve been coaching her for all of her life and I thought how amazing it could be to help others that may also be going through these struggles.  Even with a little extra support, I genuinely do feel that it can make the biggest difference to someone.

I have a great understanding of the challenges and strengths associated with neurodiversity and I can really help you to thrive.

    What my clients say:

‘I booked 6 coaching sessions with Sophie and honestly had no idea of what to expect.  I really feel she has helped me to change my life.  There were so many areas that I didn’t realise were affecting me and Sophie helped me to identify these and together we have put some strategies into place that I now use without realising on a daily basis that have significantly improved my quality of life and how I feel’.

After almost 10 years working in the Criminal Justice system—8.5 years in a male prison—some time with prison leavers and homeless people, then working with Domestic Abuse perpetrator, specializing in working with complex individuals and especially people with ADHD, I hit burnout and realised it was time to switch things up while still helping others.

My teenage son was diagnosed with ADHD at 7, and I then noticed similar traits in myself. I was diagnosed with ADHD combined type just over 2 years ago alongside thyroid issues and being coeliac. My 7-year-old daughter is on the waiting list for a diagnosis. Helping them understand their brains, as well as the impact of ADHD in the criminal justice system, inspired me to become an ADHD coach.

Hi! I'm Dhruti (pronounced 'droo-tee'). Aged 36, a period of intense burnout eventually led to a diagnosis of Inattentive ADHD, and I've been unravelling the impacts of neurodivergency as a South Asian woman since then! Whilst re-learning myself through the lens of ADHD has been life changing, it does feel isolating at times.

So I'm now on a mission to help as many people as I can before they get to that burnout stage, to make more people feel seen and learn how to absolutely thrive with their quirky brain, and to create the safe space I wish I had access to years ago!

I have worked in education over 20 years, supporting many neurodiverse students. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the creative, thoughtful, passionate bundles of energy that are my ADHD students, to begin to understand their unique and powerful ways of thinking, and to develop personalised strategies to help them navigate the neurotypical-centric environments in which they invariably find themselves.

I am a trained Specialist Teacher Assessor in Dyslexia and SpLD, and have worked as a class subject teacher, as well as a learning support specialist, working one-to-one with GCSE, A-level and university students.

My aim is to educate clients on the unique strengths of their brains, encouraging them to build and embrace life-long methods to promote self-awareness, emotional-regulation and organisation, in turn, minimising the chaos and confusion that so often accompanies ADHD.

Hello, I'm Ricky and I received my ADHD diagnosis 15 years ago after a lifetime of feeling like I was different. More recently I also obtained an Autism diagnosis. I've spent nearly two decades working within the education system and local communities, where I have developed effective strategies and insights that empower individuals not just with ADHD, but also with Autism, SpLD's and combined diagnoses. Alongside this I completed my MA in Inclusive Practice.

My own transformation through ADHD coaching inspired me to complete a coaching course through ADHD Works, equipping me to support others on their individual paths. All sessions are individually tailored, blending structure with flexibility to develop an understanding of your ADHD, build practical strategies and celebrate your unique strengths.

Together, we can create a positive environment for neurodiverse individuals in all aspects of their lives.

Jane has been a workplace wellbeing coach for over 16 years designing and delivering programmes to meet business and their personnel’s needs around mind empowerment, mental health and wellbeing, inclusive employment as well as bespoke team cohesion programmes.

She has worked in diverse sectors from global corporates, to SMEs, manufacturing to universities empowering all levels of staff.

Seeing the impact of neurodivergent minds trying to thrive in neurotypical workplaces led her to become an ADHD Coach with ADHD Works and complete their Neuro-affirmative programme.

Since qualifying, Jane has coached people going into employment to not only recognise how their ADHD turns up but tools on how to tame it enabling them to thrive in their roles.

Seeing the pressure felt by neurodivergent people and their neurotypical work colleagues, Jane devised two programmes to raise awareness and give real insight along with tools to be used.

Raising awareness of ADHD for Managers – what you might see, what you might to

Raising awareness of ADHD – how to be an alley to your colleague

In early January 2025, both courses were assessed and certified by CPD. Jane now offers both programmes to workplaces along with 1:1 coaching.

In 2025 City & Guilds published their research index which shows 13% of current Employment Tribunals involve a neurodivergent conflict. ET's cost all involved - time, money, sanity, reputation. Awareness training can reduce this risk.

The ADHD Works Executive Functioning Coaching Method™️ is:

  • Based on executive functioning skills

We've developed a framework that specifically addresses executive functioning skills delayed by 30% - like self-awareness and emotional regulation.

We'll also provide you with handy exercises and strategies that’ll make these skills feel like second nature.

  • Centred around you

Everyone has different goals. That's why our coaching approach is tailored to your specific needs.

One of the tools we’ll teach you is how to “name it to tame it.” For instance, by recognising how Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria crops up in your life, we can develop strategies to help you overcome its challenges.

  • Inclusive and judgement-free

When it comes to coaching, it's not just about receiving advice or following a set of instructions. It's about connecting with someone who gets you and your unique experiences.

That's why our coaches have lived experience with ADHD. They understand what you're going through - and they can offer insights and support.

ADHD Works’ Coaching: FAQs

What is the ADHD Works’ Coaching method?

The ADHD Works Executive Functioning Coaching Method™️ is a neuroscience-based framework. It’s designed to strengthen executive functioning skills delayed by 30%. We have weekly coaching sessions, and you’ll be provided with handy exercises (for you to complete at your own pace).

What if I have issues with my ADHD Coach?

We have oversight of each of our coaches at ADHD Works. If you encounter any issues, please reach out to us directly at hello@adhdworks.info - we'll be happy to help.

Each coach has completed their certification within the past year. We update this list after each certification, to ensure ongoing learning and skill development.
